When looking at the purposes of the church we see five purposes.  Each of these purposes is represented by one of the letters in the name OASIS.

O-utreach - Evangelism - Matt. 28:18-19

A-doration - Worship - John 4:23-24

S-tudying - Discipleship - John 8:31

I-nteacting - Fellowship - Ecc. 4:9-12

S-erving - Service - Phil. 2:1-4

What is the definition of an oasis?

A fertile area in an arid region or something that provides refuge, relief, or pleasant contrast.

Our Desire:

We desire our youth ministry to be that refuge, relief and place of pleasant contrast from the world.

Rev. 21:6 - “To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.”
